The sun is shining and the snow is most definitely melting off of the lower elevation mountains.
We are so excited to do the rimrocks without the snow and we hope you'll join us for the fun!
The Rimrocks are located off of the King Edward Forest Service Road just outside of Vernon on HWY 6 - heading towards Lumby.
They're a wonderful and ancient landform created by volcanic events years and years ago. This is a short but moderate hike because the terrain can tend to be challenging. Please wear approriate footwear and if you are exploring the lower area of th Rimrocks, use caution! But... do it. Cause you can and you rock and you LOVE rocks too. ;)
I hope to head to the Baldy Butte afterwards - which is a treeless area on the mountain with a wonderful view. We can stop there, sit on the nice fresh green grass, eat some snacks and have chats.
Remember this hike is for everyone. Feel free to bring your partners, children and pups!
Can't wait to explore with you all!
