So I'm starting this blog with the intention of capturing and sharing all our our families best moments together. We love to adventure and we love feeling a profound connection to the nature around us. Our mission is to raise our son with the same passion for exploring the outdoors and the same fondness for our incredible planet.
This is our space to share all of that with you and keep a nice collection of our adventures and advice for all of the people out there who hope to take their children outdoors.
Here's a little introduction to the three of us!
We are the parents! I am Tia, I will be running the blog and planning all of our adventures! I am 22 years old and have always had a deep rooted love for nature started in childhood. My faaaavorite thing is trip planning and I love taking photos of my beautiful family. My fiance's name is Trav and he's 25 years old. He is the driver and mood manager. He has the great quality of being able to handle a fast paced life and all the emotional turmoil involved. We live in the beautiful Okanagan region of British Columbia, Canada. We are incredibly blessed to live in such an extraordinary place that really has something of everything. We've been together for almost 3 years and the majority of our relationship has been exploring. As soon as I found out I was pregnant I spent time figuring out how to incorporate a baby into an outdoor lifestyle. It has up and downs and a whole new world of struggles but it's a wonderfully rewarding way to live. With that being said, meet our son Weston!
He is our wild little adventure buddy and we are SO lucky to have such a joyful little boy. I swear he's happiest outside. At the time of writing this intro he'll be 11 months but in the next posts we'll go allll the way back to day one and how nature has already been a huge part of his life in his first year. Weston is filled with energy and allll the love. He makes us laugh harder than we ever have and keeps us awake all night... still! He is truly the most precious addition to our family and I couldn't imagine our life without him.
We are so excited to share our stories and photos with you all! Big adventures or small.
I also plan to be cheesy and end all my blogs with an italicised quote and a little logo I made for us. So.. there's your warning.
